My Story
Hello, my name is Tony Acosta and I have had the amazing opportunity to serve as a motorsports chaplain for over 25 years. In 1998, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to pursue ministry where I served at Concord Motorsports Park. I spent 2 years at CMP before receiving a call from MRO to fill a need with motorcycle road racing. For those who don't know about motorcycle road racing, these guys race at road courses across America, go 200 mph, and drag their knees and elbows. Let's just say they certainly need a chaplain. (No offense they are great racers.) Over the last 2 decades, I have served with MRO and MROA in various motorcycle series from asphalt to dirt and whatever might be in between.
A couple of years ago there was a need to help Bob and Kathy Butcher in the ARCA West Series which is developmental series for NASCAR. It has been a joy to share the love of Jesus with this series and as God directs will continue to serve them this year and years to come.
I desire to share the love of God with you and encourage you in your relationship with Jesus.
In my free time here in Arizona, I enjoy spending my time off roading in my jeep, hiking, fellowshipping with other godly men and attending/serving at my local church.
If I can be of any assistance to you in your journey with Christ or if you'd like to know more about my ministry, please do hesitate to contact me.
