Michael Waltrip From the time I was 12 years-old, I have always felt that God was with me. I thought everyone felt the same way I did – that God was with you through the good and the bad times. But then as I grew up, I learned more about the Bible, and I learned more about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I prayed and asked Him to come into my heart and forgive me of my sins, and now we walk this field together. Before each race, I pray and state the same thing, “I want to give You all I’ve got.” I have faith in God, and it means the world to me. I know He’s there; this gives me a tremendous amount of peace. I encourage you to seek God. Open the Bible and read it. Seek out true believers in Christ who will help you.
