Bob and his wife Ruth have been married 33 years. They have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. He serves as an associate pastor at Light & Life Christian Fellowship in Long Beach, CA. www.llcf.org He has been in full time church ministry since 1981 including 2 years serving in the Philippines. Bob began serving as a Chaplain at Irwindale Speedway in 2001. In 2004 he began traveling with the NASCAR Southwest Elite Series. When the Elite Series were eliminated at the end of the 2006 season, Bob Butcher asked him to join him and his wife Kathy serving the NASCAR Grand National West Division. Bob has seen the incredible need for chaplains in motor-sports and is committed to doing whatever he can to recruit, train and mentor 100 new motor-sports chaplains. Bob is currently serving the SRL (Stockcar Racing League) Southwest Tour and Toyota Speedway at Irwindale in Southern California.
