Billy Mauldin
President and CEO
Billy Mauldin, President and Chief Executive Officer, came to Motor Racing Outreach (MRO) in January of 1999 having previously served as a volunteer dating back to 1995. Named President in 2000 and CEO in 2002, Billy previously served on the campaign staff of United States Congressman Robin Hayes. He is a former youth leader assistant for Central Church of God in Charlotte and has a background in both commercial and residential construction. A graduate of Appalachian State University, he has served MRO as chaplain for various racing series including the Unlimited Hydroplane Racing series, American Motorcycle Association (AMA) and the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide series. A lifelong resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, Billy is married to Julie and father of Thor, Titan, Roxy and Daisy.

Working for Floyd King and Sons laying residential water and sewer pipe. It was nasty dirty work and Floyd King was a tough man. He once stood above a ditch where we were working laying pipe and said “I can replace you quicker than that shovel you are holding if you don’t speed it up!” |
